International Snow Scultpure Championship
Breckenridge’s International Snow Sculpture Championships presented by Toyota is a world-renowned snow sculpting competition where teams from around the world descend on Breckenridge, Colorado to hand-carve 25-ton blocks of snow into enormous, intricate works of art. Artists are only allowed to use hand tools, creativity and inspiration to bring their ideas to life. No power tools allowed! Teams sculpt countless hours across five days (totaling around 94 hours), resulting in a temporary outdoor art gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge!

Rockstar Energy Open
Breckenridge Ski Resort is launching the Rockstar Energy Open snowboarding event, December 19–21.
This free, three-day festival blends elite snowboarding competitions with live music, art installations, and an interactive fan village all set against Breck’s stunning five peaks. The event will feature men’s and women’s divisions, a stacked lineup of Rockstar Energy athletes like Olympic gold medalist Red Gerard, Colorado’s own Nik Baden, and fan favorite Iris Pham.
The competition debuts a rider-designed, multi-terrain course created with Snow Park Technologies and Breck’s Terrain Park Crew, bringing a fresh twist beyond traditional slopestyle, halfpipe, or big air formats.

Ullr Fest
Get ready to embrace winter fun at the 62nd Ullr Fest, happening December 18–20, 2025! Breckenridge welcomes locals and visitors to honor Ullr, the Norse god of snow, and wish for an epic ski season. Copper Mountain is proud to host another exciting season of world-class competition at the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix!
From December 17–20, the planet’s top freeskiers and snowboarders will throw down their biggest tricks in the first North American halfpipe event of the season. It all happens in Copper’s legendary 22-foot Superpipe in Center Village. Spectating is free, and you can check out the vendor village while you’re there. Don’t miss this epic showcase of talent!

Breckenridge shines extra bright for the holidays! 🎄✨ The festivities kick off the first weekend of December with the adorable Holiday Dog Parade, where pups in festive costumes strut down Main Street. Next up, the Race of the Santas brings hundreds of jolly runners jingling through downtown. As night falls, the Lighting of Breckenridge transforms Main Street into a magical winter wonderland with 11.2 miles of lights and over 250,000 sparkling bulbs! These iconic holiday displays are among the most photographed sights in town and keep Breckenridge glowing all season long.

December First Friday: Holiday Lighting & Art Market
Celebrate the holidays with the Town of Silverthorne at December First Friday! Head to the Silverthorne Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 5from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and holiday art market. Sip on hot chocolate as you shop unique wares from local artists and enjoy live music, carolers, holiday crafts and more. Community members will also be able to visit with Santa himself.
The tree lighting ceremony will be held in front of the main Silverthorne Pavilion entrance at 6 p.m.

Woodshop Orientation and Safety Course

This class is intended to introduce novices and experts alike to the Woodshop at the Art Spot. This is a safety and orientation course and is required before members can use the woodshop independently and must be taken before signing up for any woodshop specific intro classes.

November First Friday: Dia De Los Muertos Celebration
The Town of Silverthorne is honoring and celebrating Dia de los Muertos and the vibrant Latine community living in Summit County at November First Friday. In partnership with local community members, a Dia de los Muertos celebration will be held on Friday, Nov. 7from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This fun and educational event has been created to promote understanding and cultural diversity within our community. Dia de los Muertos is a time when both the living and deceased come together and celebrate life in every form. This is not a somber holiday, but one of revelry and remembrance.
During First Friday, attendees can enjoy face painting, live music and dancing, traditional food and drinks, crafts for kids, and a pinata.

Future Town Tour
What if we didn’t wait for the things we love to die to celebrate them? What if we celebrated and gave eulogies for the things we value that are still with us? Would people take action to preserve them?
Join the Town of Silverthorne and Warm Cookies of the Revolution on Thursday, August 28 at the Silverthorne Pavilion as we pay homage to the things we love about our town. This event is part of the Warm Cookies of the Revolution's Future Town Tour and will provide a thought provoking and entertaining evening that gives praise to life in Silverthorne. Listen to performers and speakers and view artwork that provides a unique take on the things that make life so interesting in our mountain town.
Come celebrate on August 28 with an evening of remembrance and reverence for the things we hold dear as we will fill our metaphorical cups with performances and our literal plates with cookies.
All are welcome to attend this free community event. The first 100 attendees will receive free tacos from La Perla.
Sunday Maker's Market
Enjoy a stroll through downtown Silverthorne between Bluebird Market and the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Silverthorne Sunday Maker's Market. Experience a variety of local pop-up artists, makers, and musicians while taking in Silverthorne's downtown and vibrant restaurants.
August First Friday Block party
Silverthorne will be celebrating August First Friday with a community block party at Fourth Street Crossing on Friday, August 1 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Listen to local bands and musicians, check out wares from more than 30 local artists, explore the Art Spot Silverthorne Makerspace, participate in artful activities and more all around the businesses at Fourth Street Crossing.
Local artists will be painting mini murals throughout the block party, which will be displayed around Town after First Friday. Plus, the Art Spot will be offering free screen printing, so be sure to bring a t-shirt from home to participate!

This is a wonderful time to gather with friends and neighbors and support local artists, makers, and musicians while taking in the sounds and sights of the Blue River and the rest of town during these artful, walking events. The June art stroll will take place from the Silverthorne Pavilion to Chipotle along the Blue River Trail.
Trent Park Expansion Grand Opening Celebration
Join the Town of Silverthorne for a grand opening celebrating the new, expanded Trent Park on Tuesday, June 17, from 4 to 6 p.m.! Community members are invited to enjoy music, food, and fun as they check out the expanded park amenities, including two bicycle pump tracks, a basketball court, a manufactured bouldering area, court games, a warming hut, picnic areas, and a perimeter trail. Play a game of basketball or pickleball, or a round of corn hole or spikeball with friends and family, or watch the bikers on the pump track during this free, community event.
June First Friday Summer Kickoff Party
The Town of Silverthorne is kicking off summer at June First Friday. Head to the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center Lawn on Friday, June 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for live music with Local Folk, kids activities, and more. Learn about summer programs and activities from local non-profits, and take part in the Wildfire Rendezvous from Summit Fire and EMS and other community partners. The Wildfire Rendezvous will feature wildfire safety, information and preparedness, and fire trucks, emergency vehicles and more for kids to explore!
Food will be available for purchase from Enza's Delicatessen & Market, Galactik Gourmet, Gigis Betchin Chick-n, La Perla, and Mountain Melt.
