One of Silverthorne’s most popular First Friday events, the Locals’ Appreciation Party Sponsored by Locals Liquors, will be held on Friday, May 1 on the Silverthorne Performing Arts Center lawn from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature free beer, wine and liquor tasting and live music from the Joel Lotitio Trio and the Chris Bauer Band.
Donations to local non-profits are strongly encouraged to participate in the event. Attendees may also purchase a full-size commemorative tasting cup at the entrance of the event for $50, with all proceeds going towards this year's non-profit beneficiaries. In years past, the Locals’ Appreciation Party has raised more than $46,000 for non-profit organizations.The Town of Silverthorne is kicking off summer at June First Friday. First Fridays are the town’s signature event series and welcome the entire community to participate.
